All I can think of is either super stacked shields with earth or out Ini them. The other alternative is fight cancer with cancer, I wouldn't recommend this any other time before today however you can try the DISGUSTING, CHEAP mabui, 10 10, mei and water main and just nuke them. I've gone against like 80%+ of all my hours of arena fights today and the cancer just keeps spreading and growing so... try that, if enough ppl abuse this cancer maybe, just maybe they will nerf it.

They will never nerf water teams. Rumors say that they will be strengthened in the future (as well as the other mains) so stop asking for it. It's never going to happen. They will however become less dominant when stronger ninjas are released.

As for OP, there are 2 hard counters to Lightning Blitz. Han and masked man.

Han with a Sage naruto and support from behind can do a lot of damage and will effectively remove all but Iruka's and the barrier's buff. You can add a kage ninja to have a barrier of your own or use roshi if you have him. If you have lower initiative odds are you will loose unless you are using immortal teams.

Masked man will immobilze LM for 1 turn and remove his buffs, then you can take your time turn 2 and kill him. Again initiative is important here too.

The tenten lineup is a gamble since if they kill either your tenten or your mei (depending on your setup) on move 1, then you loose.

i guess for masked man, initiative isnt important because if someone try to interupt or acc him he can dodge it (not rly 100% but high chances r)

It's less important than in Han's case since you will stop LM turn 1.

But if they have guy and mifune for example, turn 2 you will need a faster move 1 than them, otherwise mifune will use his mystery and LM will recover from the damage you did turn 1. Even worse if the manage to kill your damage dealer with such a move. In the end theone with the initiative will have the largest advantage in the fight.

Just use Gara old version or kazekage / Sage Naruto / WindMain /Killer Bee or Gakido with the wind main skill that take buffs out and you will just one shot him in first round , if not in second round maximum he is down

Han removes iruka buff. Doesn't remove wb asuma buff or the barrier buff.

Anyways to reply to the opening thread: wind main with *y harem jutsu and dance of impetus or with sand dust and clones, gaara shippuuden, sage naruto, bee sst or fu. Han + sb immobile jutsu or + bd hurricane jutsu.

Masked man.

Those are the actual full counters to those teams.

Both the lightning root blitz and water main hoes teams don't work late game, anything beyond level 80 can kill those teams as long as power difference isn't huge

Geez are you playing NO because water cancer team is still one of the best end game teams out there... No wonder people use it all the time because it's relatively cheap and it's also one of the few teams out there that can win a fight for you with more than 5k power deficit.
