The pains are going to be useless really fast at the exception of gakido so i wouldn't draw in that treasure if i were you but "earth main, gakido, ningendo and shurado" was a really strong team before kage treasure.

As for the strongest mains in 1.0 i would say earth main (steel body + shield were so strong in 1.0) or fire main with tobi/deidara.

I used to run a team with earth main, hinata, sasuke and kankuro gnw (you c*e the normal kankuro too) and it was pretty strong back then.
