172-306 (used to be 172-291), but they have 57-73 added to it

And yeah, as expected. S57-73 is dominating in Sage World, Matusri and Space time together with a few whales from different servers.

Since it was written 's57-s306' bracket i never noticed this up to this very moment, but now i'm really astonished.
Basically what we have here is that merged server s57-73 was added to our bracket ONLY because Achroma is there?
To give him and his friends an easy life at our expense?
What's the point of addind a server 3 months older than the lowest one after it (172) if not this one?
Why s57-73 isn't in the 38-169 bracket?

S57-73 is split between two merged groups.

First merge: 57, 60, 62
Second merge: 64, 68, 73

Never the less, they got an extreme unfair advantage.
Why are these servers in our bracket?

Wow, 57 to 306. That is way over a year of server uptime advantage as well.
Talk about unfair advantage.
Please put them back where they belong.

This game is only out for 11 months so not quite there, but like 4-5 months which is still a lot.

i'm from 154 so almost at the end of it ,and you merge us in sage with 38 server , wich is 6 month's minimum older th* , so in resto f 5 month's i manage to make 65k power , wich means they should be 100k power , where is fair in this ?

Like you put me to play fotbal against Cristiano Ronaldo , impossible to compete with this , start to hawe the same felling that you guy's just do this as the company force you to do it , but you don't do a proper job .

You might have missed the point with this thread :)
It's about how "someone" might have tweeked the game in their own favor, rather than playing it like everyone else.

I have little knowledge about football, but I guess this is 90% of the community feels the same about x-server sage right now. Hopefully they will adjust the system and match players by power correctly, so we won't have a 30k power difference in the same battlefield.

maybe you don't get the point here. The point here is that since 57-73 servers were added to 172-291 bracket to, very likely, give an advantage to Achroma and his firends, this means YOU and your friends there weren't added in their place to that bracket!!! (since made more sense that server 154-169 moved together with 172-291 instead of 57-73). So the most damaged people by this are exactly the servers closest to 172 in the 38-169 bracket (and your server is one of these very likely). That was my whole point and because of my recent comments I ended my ever possible chance to be the GL because I will never work under Achroma because of this.

Servers 57-73 don't belong into our cluster... So what we can witness here is the immense abuse of power and noone, really noone gives a *. Why? because they can't? they would get a cut!? I am sick of this. It's principally wrong and we should rise as one...

Uhm before you go full tinfoil hat mode, Achroma was just a normal active forum user for about first half a year this game was out, i was more active back then too, he then got picked as mod when they were looking for more because old ones left, Schnee, Zetsubou and Aris got his forum mod taken for arguing.

So what i am saying is, he is just a forum mod. He does not secretly run Oasis or has power to move space time cluster, pretty sure he had nothing to do with it lol.

Also have you actually looked at the power levels of lower bracket where they are meant to be, they might be even weaker then yours just that server cluster of 6 is an exception, i say this because i am from 17-35 and top people here are 'only' 80k~ no 100s so server age is not everything. You'd be surprised how much power a "mod" might eventually get, especially if the company is dependent on that mod for any reason.

I have been on the other side of the fence. The company that I worked for actually gave me backend access so I ended up giving myself my "paycheck" of game currency. I have also helped ban some people during a * investigation by mining activity logs(and yes, I did issue some of the bans myself) Now, I'm going to tell you I didn't abuse my powers, you can choose to believe it or not. But in any case, fact of the matter is that a player-mod CAN gain a lot of powers.

Granted, I was "with" the company for almost a year before that point and helped them in more involved ways than most mods ever would, so this isn't exactly likely or common. But it is POSSIBLE.

ok Dym, and have you checked how my cluster looks like? s57-73 + s172 - 306. So I don't have to be a rocket engeneer to know it's not balanced. around 50 players in top 128 are from servers 57-73, that's why I filed this complaint, but I know how oasis works so this will be swept under the carpet if I don't do something or at least try to do something, what I think is the best for the gaming community. Pretty much what will happen. Mods get annoyed, thread will be closed or deleted.
Most players seems to "accept" this because they are afraid of getting banned or simply just given up on the idea of a fair system.

On the other hand, we might get something done if players like "the one shall not be named" or other popular streamers take this issue into the spotlight.

It seems like the mods have been on a rampage recently deleting numerous threads every day even if they have valid arguments in them without any bashing it will be deleted, if it portrays Oasis in any negative way.

However, by doing this they are showing how much understanding they lack about their own customers, censoring everything and wiping it under a rug, and thinking job well done no one will notice is not gonna change the core problem here.

Ultimately Oasis can either start at least responding decently like any other respectable company would do to their customers complaints with some official statements or they can watch their playerbase dwindle by keeping this up.

Most of the popular streamers work for them as ambassadors/GLs.

My intention was to let ppl know, something like this happened because someone had the power to influence the outcome. Say whatever you like, but as long as people like them won't change their attitude to show us they really care and prove it with actions, nothing will change. We know the answer.
