[ Help ] Why is Arena limited to each individual server or each server and their merges?

Basically, when you look into the nitty gritty of things, what I want to know is why are servers limiting the arena too each individual server and their merges when you could easily be opening each arena to each server as one huge platform and have it match people up based on Arena Rank and their overall power on the server they represent.

Because the way I see it, when you limit the arena to such a degree, you've got queue times like what i've experienced at Special Jonin on S462 being 3 hours plus because of the server being new and the people who are in the top 50 already likely being in a different battling bracket.

The argument stands that you could tell me to go to an earlier server, but then I am outclassed in everything on the server due to not being there since day 1.

That doesn't make a whole lot of sense, if I am on at Morning - Afternoon - and Evening for NY Server time (5-22:00) then I shouldn't be missing the arena at all, I should be getting at least one or two matches a day, fact of the matter is, in the special jonin bracket, which is what I am in, I have only had one match in the last week, there's no way it's cross-server for ranked.

  • How old is your server? I think cross server arena only opens up after 60 days from the server opening. That might be why you can't find anyone.
If this is true, I'd like some verification on this, as this would be extremely helpful to know.

  • It is because cross server feature for naruto online is not designed to handle more than X number of servers. Hence you see a section of servers that is assigned to each cross server fields.
Ahhh, so this is also relevant in terms of popularity of the servers in the individual clusters too, I take it?

Special Jonin 13 points, first season for our server. Likely true that cross-server isn't implemented until after 60 days, which it hasn't been.

Also not particularly new, but rather, optimistic for the one or two people who do care.
