I think a lot of people also want this, and it's been brought up in the space time bug thread.

On one hand a set team would be nice to get some kind of stability, but on the other hand I've gone up a few reward brackets by spamming refresh and catching people doing SA, ninetails, ninja exams etc, sniping their spot and hoping not to be attacked before rewards distribution. I'd like to be able to set a team, I just figured not to expect any changes anytime soon (it'll happen when/if it happens) and am trying to work within the existing system.

I totally agree, I would like to be able to set a team for this mode, so that I can actually switch teams for more than a few mins without plummeting in rank, and it would overall make it a lot more enjoyable (no more having to switch to the right team before logging out, trying to battle close to ninetails times, etc). I'm just pointing out that the current system is actually BETTER for free to play/low power players, who might catch a much stronger player off guard and be able to jump in rank (if temporarily). If everyone had set teams, the rankings would be more "fair" and closer to how they should be. "Fair" rankings favor people with stronger auto battle teams with higher power....which tend to be the p2w players.

It might update at some set interval (on the hour? every 30 mins?), but I'm pretty sure its not just when you fight with a team, since I've seen some solo main teams too. Of course maybe they just had the wrong team and missclicked like you said.

Would be great if we got some official word on this.
