the main problem with the maintnence is that it is started at the wrong time, why not schedule all the maintnence for the 1AM-7AM server time slot?
And do them in this order: Asia, UK, NY, LA

that should solve most of the delay problems.

also it does not make sense that the first 6 servers of each region are open and the others closed

and the worst thing they didn't even give us the average time the update will be finished so we keep refreshing every minute or every second

Glyrin they don't have the resources to do it, they update servers almost one by one thats why servers open by server number (I have accounts on multiple servers). Low number servers are up and running, the lowest have been for hours.
