I'll try to give my own tempered response. I've HAD a lot of fun with this game and made some good friends. But it is not a game I see surviving in the long-term because of a lot of short-sighted decisions.

honestly a lot of people on my MERGED server have quit, the three servers combined are basically just have slightly more population than before they were merged which *s. F2p people are just cattle for p2w players to plunder and kill in sage (i'm kind of a P2W player btw.) There really needs to be more and better events for f2p, and some way for them to catch up to p2w in a better way.

People just keep moving to new servers, thats good for you in the short term but i won't move to a new server, i'll just quit.

Some legitimate complaints:
1) Oasis is way too secret, often really in an unfriendly way.

For example, 7 day daily specials. Is it so hard to tell us what the daily specials will be in advance of the event so we can pick what we want to spend on, if any?

2) Sometimes you are downright shady. I feel really bad for whoever got duped by the Kazekage treasures. Especially since Temari (and Ao I believe) being designated in it and then common right after.

3) The RNG and rewards on some of the biggest spending events is terrible. ONE Hiruzen frag?

4) GNW doesn't have enough rewards

5) milking Konan is just dumb since shes not even a good ninja for anyone really.

6) has anyone forgotten you gave us JIRAIYA for a monthly in january??

7) what i'm really disappointed is that all the developers seem to be oblivious that a very large portion of the game community is bored and discontent. Basically the only event people are happy with is Lucky Board, mainly because it isn't as rigged as the other events are, but even our lucky board could be better. You, the developers, are not getting good information.

8) communication about what features were coming in 2.0 was really bad.

9) the kage meta is so stale now.

10) Super Kage Scrolls and Super Sage scrolls are bugged or misleading. First, Super Kage scrolls DONT drop from any exam between 101 - 119 unlike other scrolls. And Super Sage scrolls dont drop from exam 120. It's this kind of misleading buggy stuff thats annoying.

11) 900 seals for super rare in kage *s. Reanimated giving you 2 star ninja when everything else is 3 star also *s. Hardly anyone is going to spend big into reanimated.

12) your poll system is so crazy and rigged. 2000 votes minimum, voting on features you were already planning to introduce. Well, I guess I'm glad we did that since it got you to reconsider the cross server sage or pause it. Sage rewards, a lot of rewards, are just too top heavy. IF you aren't top 3 in sage or can't get there, you might as well afk in sage.

13) persistent bugs like the matsuri bug, the SA/TI bug, translation issues that are NEVER fixed (like mabui skill description) are part of the reason i dont see a long term future for this game like the China version.
14) why are rebate events only 2-3 days long now starting on a monday?

i bet they are on QQ talking about how everyone is positive on the forums right now and only a few people are upset, people on Oasis are out of touch, it is sad that only now you start to listen to your player base and it is sad that that's what it takes for you to listen.

Yeah, I was gonna complain about that because I did not even get that compensation. And yeah I was one of the people who couldn't do TI for a week.

You want the opinion of a player I'll give you the opinion of a player that doesn't know much but has one:

A) We should be allowed to express out opinions about the game without being banned or censored. Yes, sometimes it will be negative rants. I am all for a rule against swearing and stuff, but letting people express their dissatisfaction should be allowed. A quick edit on a post to remove swearing or a filter would be great. Swearing is not the worst thing in the universe, but I can understand not everyone feels its appropiate. I really dislike how people gets banned here just for that.

B) Polls need to be worked differently, if we're going to vote things we should at least be able to have real veto power on matters or tell people straight away "you are voting for something to be added soon or later. Now choose." I mean you say don't discuss other versions, however ppl playing others version already know about things so you wouldn't have to explain cross-server SWB, but they can't help because you have a rule against it. Sharing knowledge of other version is not going to give anyone cancer, it's silly to rule it out. Besides that, even then some people even brought up that it was going to come regarding of vote, but some people REALLY believed when they voted "no" that OG would take them seriously (I guess the joke's on them for believing it).

C) I have no problem with the wheels since I don't spin anything unless is free. It was my opinion that the chances for getting certain stuff was higher than other just watching at the wheels and I don't mind that much, but to someone paying for spins it's quite a big deal. Can't the chaces of getting good stuff be increased or even out a little bit more? You could start little by little until you find a balance between the company's goal and the player's. It's not rocket science, adjust % until you still win but people is less prone to feel like they dumped their money on a rigged event. Personally I'd lower the contrast between good reward and "crap" reward, no one jumps in joy at getting a ramen bowl.

D) I feel your customer's service is somewhat lacking, when I bring out a problem I am directed at the forums, but my experience in these forums hasn't been very positive. I feel like the mods can't handle the amount of problems that need a response and sometimes it feels as if they are dismissive of complaints. I am a patient reasonable person and I think you either need more people helping or just take the information and screenshot given in the customer service page and stop directing people here. You can still keep the section of the forum for problems and customer service but it would be less cluttered and I would be easier to handle for the people watching over it.

E) Rumors and hearsay are part of the game. People will not stop gossiping and speculating what's comes next, just as people hasn't stop sharing things about other versions outside this forum. I am literally telling you guys and gals who work in oasis, let human beings be human beings. Let them express themselves, let them share. This is the internet its going to happen anyway. The forums can release information, like you did now on constant basis, this would help people to know what's really coming and what's just hearsay.

F) I am tired of hearing "this is our own version with its own things and it'll be different" you say that but people vote against Cross-SWB, now one of the things suggested was making participation in cross-server optional or only triggered when there weren't enough players. I don't know if china or german or whatever version has this, but if doesn't then the more you could try something the community actually suggested for instead of a rehash of whatever. I realize than rather than translating it means coding stuff up so maybe is not viable for you guys or not in short term or any term. Maybe you don't have that much leeway or people to work on that. So fine, but also let us know "how much" can you actually change and how much Oasis can't change. And be specific, like I wrote before tell us if we are voting to get something sooner or not, most people is going to guess a no means we don't want this ever.

I'd go on, but I'm tired and I write crappily so if there were a bunch of typos there, sorry.

Looks like Oasis will start getting paid in coupons for a while. ~

If Oasis really wants to start listening to players and making actual changes, here is a list of the ninjas that CN version had in shops before they updated to the scroll reruitment system or star system or what ever is called.

The ones in green should already be in the shops, maybe a bit more expensive so the price can drop to this prices over time
The oranges ones could also be since they are login ninjas that were already given.

You have no idea how long this would go to actually cater to the players.

And you want to know how to keep players happy? Just * to the * script.

What they did with the polls are just same as what they did/doing with the server merge requests. They pretend they care by asking players to leave info on the server merge request thread when none of the requests mattered in their decision making. I'm pretty sure the most important factor they look at is if the servers have any spenders. Look at all the early servers that got merged like kaizer's, kahpow's, agarthor's, a*umedparasite's, all have big spenders. Ofc it makes business sense to put spenders together so they compete with each other. While months after months my server that has relatively low spenders are still waiting for a merge. I stopped posting after posting every week for 3 months, just a waste of time and effort.
And they claim they'll "make a bigger effort to merge more servers every two weeks", what a joke, how is merging 3 servers per region every 2 weeks a bigger effort??? They really need to wake up.
