So we all know that arena is very hard and very tough to do and if you win a match you lose right after it
So my suggestion is

insted of making things easy or harder

just make points not drop in loses
that will make everybody happy and in the same time won't make a high time maintance for it and it will be balanced for everybody

suggestion here as well
Match players based on number of ninjas and init, rather than power. This post was last edited by 105***@google at 2017-2-18 01:29

I proposed something similar in regards to limiting the number of - points we can gain from losses. I understand losing is a factor in any pvp game, but to allow it to be unlimited makes wanting to try even less fun after you go below ten losses, and you know that if you win one that you might lose again or several makes it that much annoying to even keep trying.

I just added a complaint to a previous unanswered complaint regarding this. After 2.0 people stoped doing ranked arena because it took much time (hours to find someone), and now this... This is not CN servers, most people are here not to be competitive. There will be no great number of players for mobile game (guessin that will be releassed).

If by matching in arena means fighting someone with every char 2k life (and % rest of stats) above me means a fair fight...well, .. there is no well, i don't understand.

It seems like they've adapted the Matsuri's matching system into Arena: if you win a battle, you will get match to somebody with higher power; and vice-versa, if you lose, you'll get match to somebody with lower power. This makes earning points quite a moot point: most people with higher power have higher initiative which is the only stat that matters in Arena, therefore, you can predict that, since you have won the previous arena battle, you will very likely lose the next one.

It doesn't apply for every case, since if you can actually invest into initiative (via stone/rune/purifying/refining equipment), you have a very high chance of winning. However, the number of players could invest to the point of winning every battle and earn Sennin rank is pretty small in the players pool.

So, yeah, not subtracting point if you lose battle is a good idea. It encourages people to participate in Arena more, since you don't lose your current rank/rewards even if you does lose.

(i remember reading about not losing points if you lose in Arena 2.0, has it been revised?) This post was last edited by Watanuki13 at 2017-2-18 09:33

i dont think arena match you with someone close to your power.. its like they match you with people who has the same arena points as you (example is if you have 32 rank points you get match with people who has 31-33 rank points).. thats why some people doesnt get match quickly despite the cross server being implemented, its simply because no one who has the same rank point as you or near it is queing..
i did some test on this.. wasnt to extensive thou so i might be wrong. would be better if we get a clarification from a mod about this :P

Your theory is definitely more plausible than mine. If its rank than its fairer than expected.

Why everybody is complaining about ranked system ?

In my opinion it may probably be the only way to determine worthy PvPers.
First of all , most servers fight against 3-4 other servers in this cross server arena/ Matsuri, right ? If you make a proper research you can see which servers you fight against. Make a character in each of them and check BP rankings , initiatives so that you know where to place yourself ( spy and get valuable infos for your potential opponents ) .
Higher total ini is a big factor , but honestly there is always a way to counter a team.. Take arena as Ninja exam.. I may have more to add but its just that i started to get bored of reading complains about how system works ! Outsmart your opponent and you can do wonders..

of course this is the idea behind this since the system is progressive.. the more you progress the harder it gets.. its just common for stronger people to have higher rank points so the higher your rank points go the stronger your opponent will get..

it shouldn't be that hard , what i mean is if i win once i will lose the point after it and this thing repeats for over 6-4 hours to get more points ...

trying to outsmart your opponent doesn't work if you have 35k+ power , maybe in 20s a 35k player should know what to do and what not to do ... your idea of knowing ppl servers is wrong cuz i met from 80s ,40s ,200s

thats because youre trying to get to the highest rank really fast.. the reason why they put in seasons is so you can spend your time climbing up the ladder.. you dont go and win 1 match then que up expecting to be matched with a person similar to the last guy you beat.. of course whats waiting for you will be much stronger opponents. unless your someone who has over 70k power then yes you would be sweeping through everyone and reaching six paths in just a matter of hours.. but if thats not the case then you need to take your time..

Hey

Arena structure is a ladder base. We want players to feel accomplished by winning and achieving a goal.
Of course, losing can be frustrating. However, it's a risk/reward system that grants players that feeling of accomplishment that many other games thrive with ladder systems.

We want to keep that intact. Of course, taking suggestions about having a safety net to prevent instant demotion is perfectly acceptable. However, completely removing "losing points" is not healthy.

Thank you again for your suggestion!
