  • Sorry guys! Another question!

If Oro is dead for example in Round 3, and he doesn't revive because there's no Sound Ninjas at his point of death. In Round 4, Kabuto's mystery summons 2 of his dead souls which are of Sound Ninja properties, will Oro now revive in Round 4? Or is Oro dead for good as long as there is no sounds ninjas at his point of death?
Kabuto is also a Hidden Sound Ninja so he will die.

And Orochimaru has the same passive to revive.

  • What if there is a dead kabuto, oro dies and then a jigokudo/chiyo revives the kabuto?
I just tested it and Orochimaru will not revive.

  • that's awkward. how the code doesn't recognise a sound ninja is back on the field.

    Not even next round?
I think that the Orochimaru's passive check if there's a sound ninja when he's dying and not when he's already dead.

  • That's probably it, it makes sense from a programming prospective, a script to look for a sound ninja is ran when oro dies.

That said, it does make the wording of the ability wrong, it should read "When" and not "After" if this is the case, because the revive-kabuto state is clearly "after" Oro is dead and therefore he should have revived. Whereas if it says "when", it would be correct as the revival can only happen on the death event itself. I wonder if we should file a bug report for that.
Alternatively, they would have to make the trigger run more often (every instance of summon/revive perhaps), that'd be a bit more complicated
I think that they've translated it wrong and they aren't able to do a simple script like that, just look of the maintenance of today.
