What makes him so *y in the meta? What happens to his viabilty when Jinchuriki and Edo Tensei treasures come out?

What all in all makes him so * powerful as people say he is?

But is he worth it? Doesn't he just get countered by Root of Warrior teams that can't get tagged.

And everyone and their neighbor's pet duck is using Midnight blade ;P

  • You can tag the single (or in some teams duo) none sword bearing ninjas. Then his normal attack will attack another non tagged and that 1 or 2 tagged ninja. So he may not hit all 4 now, but he'll still hit 2, and with bee around... hit 2... twice. I think still pretty effective.
So what does counter him? What do you think will happen to him when Jinchuriki treasure opens?

How can you tell they come in May? Relax, I'm just messing around.

But I'd like to get more data, since tomorrow is the last day you can buy him, and I'm sitting on the fence. That's why I'd like to know what are his weaknesses and what kind of teams and or ninjas will cause issues to him.
