com'on, I know there are loads of people who pulled Mabui ;P

In 1v1 her and GNW 1010/Tendo Pain is pretty much the only meta combo i see, in other teams she is not that good.

Something like Water Main/GNW 1010/Mei/Mabui and Lightning or Wind Main/Mabui/WB Asuma/Tendo Pain.

She's more of an auxiliary support character for ranked, put her with people that require a lot of chakra (and no battle cooldowns for OP teams). In pvp she's useful for light shielding, chakra, and using her mystery to finish off resurrection characters. She has no damaging standard, and she's pretty squishy health and defense wise, her chase is basically a plus one to your combo (minimal damage with KD to KD) and her heal isn't nearly as good as say Tsunade or Jigokudo so nearly no usefulness there either.
