Hi,

I have a question on ninjas who raised shield based on resistance, do they raise shield based on their own resistance alone as a fixed number to all ninjas affected, or do they increase shield based on the respective ninja's resistance? For example, Iruka, Konan, Mabui, wind main, earth main etc. They all have similar if not slightly different description I could not quite understand. ALso it mentioned, 'base attribute', what is meant by base attribute, is it the base of attribute itself or does inner gates, equipments etc are added into 'base attribute'? For example, if I raise Konan's resistance through measures like inner gates, mood increase, magatamas, will they increase the value of the shield she give?

Secondly, when there are ninjas that give u bonus to attack or even resistance, by percentage, what percentage do they take? For example, Iruka's boost or main characters passive that adds damage, do they take into account of the base or the maximum attribute after all the other factors like magatamas are added?

Thirdly, Wood inner gate which meant life recovery, the numbers shown is the exact Hp recovered per turn that is going to be added?

Fourthly, Hinata and Neji has a skill that could evade attacks, but at times it failed. To what attribute does it own to a better success rate? Is it Combo or Control or something else?

Fifth, Choosing +Att or +Tai *ion, how should one decide what to upgrade? If I am not mistaken, when attack is sufficient, one needs Tai *ion to break through the defense level of a certain enemy in order to do more damage? How do these two stats correlate to each other and how can we decide what is best to improve or further adds?

Sixth, Iniative, when a team of 3 people have the same barrier user, for example, they both have Mei or Sasuke, will their activation of barrier means only one of them will get to use their barrier at one time? I believe this is related to the total iniative of the whole team as a whole? Whoever has the higher iniative, the person's barrier will be used (in the case of start up barriers like Mei/onoki/darui/danzo etc). However, I have heard of instances where 2 mei in the same team still does its poison because it is under the same barrier?

Seventh, Matsuri and Survival or even Arena's Iniative , how is this calculated? Is it the total iniative average? How come at certain time I get to go first and sometimes I do not? because one cannot simply put the highest iniative to the first move ninja unlike normal situations when we can re-arrange our equipments in such that we have the highest iniative on the first ninja attacking.

Sorry if it's too much but appreciate any answers to clarify my doubts on how this game works on details behind the scene.

  • They increase based on the provider's assistance.
Example: Crimson Fist naturally should have a resistant nature/mood to amplify the resistance provided when using the petrify shield. Hope this helped!
in some descriptions it says it increases shield based on this units' own resistance, while on others, especially Iruka "At the beginning of a battle, all Konoha Ninja units in your field will be given a Shield based on 50% of each unit's Resistance base attribute" , and the shield iruka gave has different value.
anyway i need answers fer all others too thanks anw.

  • Hello and thank you for asking these questions and apologies for my late response!

I will answer all of them to the best of my ability!

    1. Many of the ninjas that give shield at the start of combat got a change in 2.0 and they now give a shield based on the targets base resistance, meaning if my Konan is shielding my Tendo the Tendo's base resistance is what decides the shield!

base resistance is dependant on your lvl and cultivation meaning it will not increase by your gear/eight inner gates etc.

    2. Im afraid this is not something i know the answer off, i will test it and come back to you regarding it.

    3. I can not answer you when new functions gets added ingame, sorry.

    4. Hinata and Neji's evasion is a set % it will not increase due to stats.

    5. You should always focus on maxing your core stats as much as possible first, which would be Nin/Atk/Res/Def/Life/Initiative/Crit/Combo. Im unsure what your question is if you need more details please post again.

    6. Yes only one barrier can exist on the field at any given time. When it comes to startup barriers you are correct whoever has the highest total initiative will have his barrier up last. Identical characters can benefit from the same barrier if they have a special effect on it, for example two kazekage gaara's will both shield if that barrier is up, two meis will both poison if its up and two first hokage's will both immobilize before action.

    7. The initiative in Arena/Survival/Matsuri is calculated the same way as normally however if you are not using the same characters the gear is very likely to be scrambled. Now that we have 3 teams you can setup you can fix the gear in one of those before you go into combat in one of those modes!

Hope this helps you i think i covered everything.

    /Achroma
Thanks I think you have covered almost everything.

Let me clarify my question on going for increasing ATT stats or TAI *ion.
Since both somehow adds damage when using TAI-based attack, how should I consider increasing TAI *ion? Does it mean that going all out on ATTACK will give me a better return over maximizing TAI *ion Stats? I had the idea that when my ATT is somehow very high already, I need to add TAI *ion in order to avoid diminishing return or value if I kept on adding ATT without putting my attention to TAI *ion. Thus my question and dilema over going to invest more to boost my already high ATT or start pumping TAI *ion Stats.

On Hinata, when she uses the skill, often that against same level or higher level, I can never succesfully do my sstandard attack, however against lower levels Hinata, this is very much easier, more chances to *e. Thus why I am asking, what other factors are influencing my attack success rate on HInata with her skill activated.

Lastly, on the shield given based on base resistance. You mentioned cultivation will affect base stats, how about Mood?

Another side question, a mystery or standard attack (that deals damage) often has NIN/TAI beside it which indicate it uses NIN stats and TAI (att) stats to derive its damage, am I correct. Is this 50% NIN and 50% TAI? While skills that only has TAI beside it will mean it rely only on Att stats? Are the % always 50:50 when there is both NIN and TAI beside its description?

Thank you for the clarifications. This is very helpful in understanding the game mechanism deeper.

  • Do stat buffs like those from curse tag and choji's eating stay for example for the 2nd round of a gnw fight?
curse tag is a debuff that will stay until cleansed. choji ac*ulates +att/deff throughout the fight. However when facing new enemy stack in GNW, I believe everything got reset, every bad stats removed, so are the good stats.

From here I had another question, People who can remove buff, such as Mifune, or new wind main skill, do they remove the buff stack GNW choji or even Sailor Sakura received throughout the game?

  • Hello, This specific thread has nothing to do with lvling. I will answer you just this once off topic.

Save your weekly missions for Tuesdays since you get 2x experience from them. Use your stamina pots on Mondays to farm experience. Make sure you do all your wanted and the Ninja test everyday aswell as Ninetails whenever it is up. These are the best proven ways to get experience.

    /Achroma
Is there a display bug because I am not seeing weekly mission x2 EXP. Only the daily mission displayed x2 exp

This question is out of topic and irrelevant to this post, but to answer u, in 2.0 (once they are fully updated) they are all available for free in shops exchangable thru coins, such as survival coints, arena coins, ranked battle coins etc. This post was last edited by Clazsic_s134 at 2017-1-20 10:06

Hai I have got another questions regarding Ninja Tools' Nature Stone. When there is a matching bonus, it states that it gives 10% of all ninja tools basic attributes. What is meant by this? What contributes 'basic attributes' in ninja tools?

Next, what is the difference between gold or red gold tools? Because in my findings, Gold are still better than red when it has higher base stats before upgrade, while upgrade remain constant throughout. For example, Paper Shuriken (gold) vs giant rasengan (red gold)something, in this case paper shuriken being gold has a better return in value even at different levels.

Also, regarding Reforging Ninja Tools, one can choose to pick the stats to reforge with 'ticks' then use according materials to sacrifice for a higher success rate. Since I have not tried this before given the costs and risks is too high, I would like to understand more how it works? Do they give u a random attribute like what purify kind of RNG? If someone has a screenshot of what happen after u click the reforge *on, that would be very insightful.

Thanks again!

Hi Achroma thanks for all the great answers.

Another question I had in mind this time is about Damage Reduction. What exactly is damage reduction, is it the combination of damage negated by defense and resistance that will be further reduced? Because before I was told that it actually reduce the damage caused by Ignite, poison, imprison etc from status rather than direct damage from attacks (TAI/NIN). Please enlighten me with the right information.

Also on top you mentioned about cursed tag buff? Do u mean Curse tag debuff that reduce 30% resistance? I have not heard of curse tag giving a buff, can u please clarify?

I have another questions:

1. Initiative in GNW for barrier purpose - Does it count the total initiative of the 3 people vs 3 people or single players highest total initiative team will use its barrier? Let's say Team A has 3 players, Team B has 3 players, the highest initiative is in Team A but Team B total initiative is higher than Team A, whose barrier will come out?

2. Critical Armor of MB, once they cast that, if we use fire main to do immobile, can he still move? I have seen cases where he still move. Also, when wind main cause blindness, then MB do crit armor which is supposed to remove all debuff, Blind was not removed and he missed a move. Confused me here.

3. Chojuro has a passive that boost 6% to each water ninja in your 'team', does it mean GNW players 3v3 will be affected by the buff? And this one is different because at the start of the battle, it does not show its buffing. I tried on Kakashi.

  • Hello and thank you for askings these questions.

    1. I have answered this before but il do it again, in GnW or any 3v3 situation what counts is only that specific team initiative. For example if i have a overall initiative of 3800 and my friends team have an overall of 3700 mine is going to go up. It takes into no account all 3 teams regarding the initaitive.

    2. He cannot move due to only using the armor. However in combination with Root of the warrior he will be able too. As for the case you give a suggestion with. IM guessing the MB in this case had already tried basic attacking and failed due to blindness, then the lightning armor came into effect and gave him the extra attacks.

    3. He works very similar to Kurotsuchi regarding that, and only buffs your specific team.

    /Hope this helps you Achroma

2 Things I noted here, either it was a bug or it is not supposed to be in the gameplay.
1. Wind main's pre-match Blindness debuff or Tobirama's, cannot be cleansed using the critical armor (which is supposed to remove debuff).
2. If MB has casted its Critical Armor, Fire main casts immobile skill after that, MB can still move and attack in that turn. (This happened when I last had a fire main to test, but now i no longer have a fire main to test, I can no longer re-check).3. Buffs such as Chojuro or Kurotsuchi that does not show in the animation, can they still be removed by mysteries that removes buffs? I assume yes.

Another noob question I always wonder, I tend to see Sage Naruto can have 2 clones at the same time when going against others in survival, but when I placed Sage Naruto on the top row (mid) while his clone appear right in front of him, when his turn came again, he did not create another clone? I thought I am hallucinating when I saw sage naruto can have 2 clones on the same field. Or am I missing something?

Hai again,

I heard something thats new recently, that the order of the buff can affect the outcome of one's battle. For example Shield buff, Iruka gives shield then there's other ninjas such as hiruzen which also adds resistance, or any other ninjas alike. How are they different and what kind of sequence will maximize my strength?

Also u mentioned 'As far as Tobirama or wind mains pre match blindness goes im not 100% sure without testing further however i believe they dont count as debuffs but rather control effects which are different and thus does not get cleansed in the same way as other debuffs like Ignite/Poison. (This also answers your number two question since he becomes immune to the immobile when its active)'
If you said blindness is control status like accupuncture/sleeping, there will be a control on my skill *on not allowing me to cast critical armor in the first place, however in blindness state, u are still able to cast mystery, for example critical armor without being able to do anything. Also, if an MB has its critical armor activated, and somehow u manage to cause blindness to him after he casted that skill, will that end up stopping him from moving if he has not? So if immobile doesnt work due to critical armor, then blindness would?
I also dont understand why u said immobile wont work if MB has already casted critical armor without root of warrior (since he is not immune whatsoever). I thought this was a bug.

  • If you read Iruka Description it said 50% shield of this unit base resistance meaning the buffs wont do anything i believe.
how about main character's buff which buff attack & ninjutsu in general, should that buff be d last buff play a bigger role (perhaps after receiving other buffs from other ninjas).

Hello Achroma,

I have a new question as well, does status stacks? For e.g Water main cause chaos, and then upon high combo it is followed by GNW ten2 paralyze, will my chaos stays? Other status like immobile, blindness etc do they stack as well? Many thanks.
