Just going to mention the fact that earth is used as an Auto support at this point, Backrow with Shield + extra auto attacks is the common way to use him.

Why RIP? they are actually better this way imo, only real difference is the fact that you cant have him as a frontline tank anymore, cover that aspect with someone else instead and use him as a support.
