DISCLAIMER. PLEASE READ!!!
Before I show you guys the lineup I just wanted to say two things. So obviously the best f2p lineup is just by saving your coupons and getting the best players. But some people don't have the patience for that like me so I'm just showing this f2p lineup. Also, in no way am I pro and I'm sure there could be a lot of flaws in this. I'm also sure a lot of p2w lineups also can beat this. It's just what happens when you're f2p. This is my first post ever and I'm really not that good at this game. As far as I know, I could be a doofus that knows nothing about this game, so read carefully before you want to use this lineup seriously. That's why I would like to say, I would like to listen to feedback on how I can improve this lineup, maybe even just ditch this lineup, and also knowledge on the game that could help me if you see some mistakes through this post. I just posted this lineup because I've never seen anything like this, this is one of the lineups for me that work so well as a f2p player.
Lineup Desc:
This lineup as I said is f2p, it consists of Shikamaru[Chunin], Hashirama Senju[New year], Scarlet Blaze/Fire Main, and Gaara. Gaara is interchangeable with any good damage dealer, and Hashirama is interchangeable with anyone that can heal a bit but also attack. What makes this lineup so special to me is how little damage it takes, and yet being able to finish the job. I've played matches where I lose, but when I switched to this lineup, I flawlessly win(obviously not in situations where the opponent is out of my league).
Scarlet Blaze/Fire Main Talents - Mystery: Genjutsu Mirror Vision, Attack: Feather illusion, Chase: Fire Style - Celestial Prison, Passive 1: Ninjutsu Urge, Passive 2: Oboro Clone Jutsu. Summon: Anything you want it to be, just be careful that it doesn't chase knockdown(although you could make it chase knockdown if you want).
The Lineup Looks:
I can't for some reason post with an image so I'll make a worse version of it. S = Shikamaru, H = Hashirama, G = Gaara, F = Fire main. X = Empty.
S. F. X.
H. G. X
X. X. X
Pros:
1. It's good at being a tank. Thanks to Hashirama's healing ability, Gaara's shields, and his super armor ability, and Fire Main's mystery and ninjutsu urge, it's hard to take this down (in my experience). This is probably the most important thing about this lineup. Make sure you put Gaara where he is, at the front lines. Due to his abilities, you can't combo him which makes him good on the front lines. Being unable to get comboed at the front lines is pretty important. Now that being said, it doesn't make him invincible, he is the most vulnerable in this lineup. But his mystery makes up for it, when used he causes a ton of ninjutsu damage which is because of Fire main's passive(ninjutsu urge) he gets to heal a lot. The ninjutsu urge also comes in handy whenever someone needs some healing because 10% of their ninjutsu attack will heal them. Whenever a lot of debuffs are happening, Fire main's is on the way to remove all of it. Also, Fire main's clone in front of him makes him less vulnerable.
2. Chakra friendly. Two of the players in this lineup take 0 chakra to use their mysteries, and one of them (Shikamaru's) recovered 60% of your chakra, which could be used to activate Gaara's mystery on round two.
3. Immobilization! Thanks to Fire main's standard attack and Shikamaru's chase, up to 5 immobilization abilities can be activated on one round (but you won't get it 100% of the time. Also not to mention sometimes it could repeat the same player). Also, Hashirama's mystery can immobilize too.
Cons:
1. A bit too passive. Gaara is basically the main show here, he does a lot of damage with his mystery, and if he dies then the team can have no other attack other than Hashirama, which he cannot carry on his abilities alone. This is pretty much the worse thing about this lineup in my opinion.
2. Too reliant on Gaara. Like I said before if Gaara dies your team is pretty much done for. And the fact that he is the most vulnerable makes it kind of bad. Although that isn't really that bad because like I mentioned, he can heal with his mystery. Also, if you ask why I would put him in the most vulnerable spot it's because he fills it the best. He can't get comboed and because he could heal himself the most (well it's really just Fire main's ability to make 10% of the unit's ninjutsu attack to heal the unit), it makes him the tankiest player in the team.3. Mystery cooldowns. Mystery cooldowns are high, nothing else much to say.
Things to remember:
1. Shikamaru's immobilization. I prefer and recommend you to make use of his chase, but because he is in pos 3 you might exclude it due to another unit's chase taking over. But at the end of the day, it's your choice so you can do exclude it if you want.
2. Fire main's mystery and ninjutsu urge. Both of those abilities really help when making a tanky team, so remember to keep it.
Conclusion:
I hope you enjoy this lineup even just a little bit. I'm probably gonna make a v2 when I figure how to make it not so passive(No guarantees). Although I really don't know who to replace my units. I'm open to suggestions to see who I should replace and with who, make sure it's obtainable without money though(and also not coupon saving)! I'm currently thinking to use Choji GNW but still not sure who I should replace. Also if you do reply to this post somehow and give me feedback on who I should replace, just a note: I would love to keep Shikamaru if possible.
First of all, I can see a lot of effort for this topic. Meaning you are one of those who are willing to learn more about the game, its overallness (if that is even a word LOLs). And that is a good thing, bro!
I actually can see alot of improvements that can be made, but I think overtime you will get to understand it on your own. First hand experience is the best teacher. I can see a good future ahead of you assuming ofc you continue to play like this [ hopefully :) ].
Since you ask for our opinions, yeah choji GNW is okay if and only if you already have him at 4 stars and bt-ed. He also scales hard when paired with Midnighblade, tho scarlet works just fine. I personally like scarlet's supporting abilities if i might add. At his 3 star state he is not that reliable. In early game I did use hashirama as a tank, Guy 4 stars as buff, scarlet and temari GNW - while cultivating my choji GNW. LOL pretty basic innocent team right? In early game I recomend to do not worry too much about getting highend ninjas, do not spend seals (tho i did spent 2-3 seals until i get Guy then saved after that) hehe let others get ahead of you. Do not rush for powers and focus on your initiative. I always tell this to my members, when you up ini, you lose potential power but overall you will do better. Anyways, only whales are capable of actually balancing stats cause they can get as many items as they please. If an f2p balance his stats, he will be left out big time.
Balance your Ninja fragments vs poweritems redeemables. For starters maybe just focus on atmost 2 or 3 at max OP ninjas when collecting. If you don't see them in any events, always claim poweritems. Actually I've experienced saing coupons 100% before and it is not as effective as i thought it would be. You may spend around 30-60 cps per week or even 100+ if that would mean you can get extra ninja fragments or even poweritems. Depends on your discretion ofc. Then when the right time comes, surprise them with what you collected xD
Again, I won't go into details on how to improve your set-up. But you will learn it over time. I believe in you bro. And btw, as an f2p, I can say you are investing in a good ninja [shikamaru chunin]. Make him full BT and probably 5 star and he'll do great in the future.
Here are some of the teams you c*e with chunin. These teams are some of my fav back then that I used frequently (kushina full sb). I just don't know if they are//will still be effective in the future. No one call tell hahaha
Anyways, this is just my opinion. I could be wrong. Enjoy the game and have fun!
Note: I understand this is a strategy section. Most of the players give their opinions for lineups and all, but in reality, most limit the infos they share ( I won't go into details, only legends know). It is good to see you are fully transparent of your ideas in creating this topic :))
