It sounds like the error you're having is a Facebook error, not an error with us. Why aren't you able to recognize your own friends? You should be able to recognize your own friends. That system is put in place to prevent people from wrongfully gaining access to your own account. I would suggest you go through Facebook process of unlocking your account.
