I think they just got tired of getting the same responses and feedback, since they don't want to admit the game needs to change and improve really bad. The game is in a sad state and it would need a big makeover to attract new players and keep them interested in the game for a longer period of time, but I don't think this is going to happen, since they do not listen to their community.
