1＃ Go ToI really, really, really want to bring my character to other servers, you know, to explore a little and meet new folks!
Does anyone else have this same wanderlust, but is disappointing that a character stays in one server when they are created there?
I mean, the merged server thing is cool and all, but it's not the same as exploring on your own.
Oh, and what about the rest of the world within the servers? There's nothing to do out there... so disappointing... I wish there were more things to do out there...

Ofc, those players who cant keep up and have fallen in ranks within their own server are always welcome to create a new character in newer servers. New adventures, new beginnings, a fresh start. But If you're talking about character/account migration, I doubt it is possible to happen.

Imho porting from a region to another should be allowed but with some limitations:
1) it should be ingots only
2) you shouldn't be able to ask for more than 1 port per year but you should be granted the option to eventually revert back to your original server.
3) the port has to be limited to servers not younger nor older than 1 week in comparison with your original server (basically going from server 302 in uk to server 303 in hk is fine, going from server 1 to server 1020 no)

Well, I agree with you on all points except for the Ingots requirement.
Having the yearlong cooldown would prompt players to be careful with where they go, and making a minimum server age would make perfect sense, though I'd think that the minimum age of the server would do better to at least be 6 months.

I just reread what you said about the server age thing, and yeah, I agree with it completely
