[ Suggestions ] Decisive Bonds , Arenas, SWB

I'd like to make a few recommendations/suggestions about how Decisive Bonds,Arenas & SWB could be more balanced.

The goal of every content on any game should be to provide the best possible gaming experience to the "average" user, either if he is F2P or P2W.

Obviously when you are P2W player, you expect win most of the content but not all of the content.

Cause lets be honest, if the F2P and Low-Spender users go extinct and only whales remain, its gonna be only whales vs whales and game is gonna still roll on. Why? Because whales don't exist because lowlies exist. Whales become whales to contest with other whales. It's a flex game.

Also I doubt that winning through dodging or because of tremendous difference in BP and stats provides any kind of pleasure to the whales. Whats the point of spending hundreds or thousands of $ to power and not be able to use it? Why even bother playing?. Just request a WIN *on ?

My problem is not the whales, my problem is that ALL the content is around them.

You allow them to lvl freeze so they can farm Advanced Refinements from SWB, you allow them to boost low accounts through DB, you lying about the stats being inactive in arenas except Initiative when obviously all secondary stats are active , ALL of them. Anyone can see that.

I don't mind lose on Matsuri cause of unbalanced matchmaking or at Rogue Outburst which is world PVP. These are events that givesSun Scrolls. Even if i lose half of the max i can get from them, i can make it up from another event in order to cap.

I don't mind losing in Arenas or SWB or DB or everywhere. Losing is part of the game. As a player tho, F2P or P2W, i demand some form of equality.

I respect the high donators "efforts" , i honestly do and obviously i am not expecting to play fair with them in all the content the game provides.But spending a fortune to increase your winning chances it's not the way.

Enough with my thoughts and the comedy though (thought to make this post abit humorous to get some attention) and lets jump to the subject.

-DECISIVE BONDS:

1) Power Groups.

According to your power, you are gonna be assigned into certain group. The power group you are gonna be, will be calculated by the SUM of the 2 players on a team.

Let's say the groups are gonna be till every 50K, that means till 50K, till 100K, till 150K, etc.

So a team with a sum of 57K power is gonna be on the 2nd group which is till 100K power.

Someone might tell me now "how is this team will go up against a 99K power team".

Well, it's better than facing a 400K whale.

Plus there will be more chances than before to have more balanced matchups. Plus a team with sum 57K means that each one of them has 25K-ish. It's really easy even as a free user to get 40,50,60K power. Done that.

2) Prevent boosting.

If in a team one of the members is 50K lower in power than the other, then the system wont allow them to queue together.

Doing that will prevent these things :1)Whales boost toon accounts, friends, or w/e. 2)The above matchmaking will remain fair, meaning that 2 players with 190K and 10K each which would sum 200K and play matches into the 200K group, is not gonna happen.

3) Retreat Option

You should allow the retreat option to be available at all times. If a lose is certain for a team at the first minutes of the match there is absolutely no reason for the players to lose precious time in an abandoned/lost match, It's everyones right to forfeit if they feel like it.

-SWB(Sage World Battlefield):

1) Make BP Battlefields and not LVL Battlefields.

Players who lvl freezing but being able to increase power might not be fair but they are definitely allowed to do so.

What they shouldn't be allowed to do is claim without contest resources that the game is providing for everyone. Allowing them to farm Advanced Refinements cause they are lvl 77 with 200K BP and make 30 winning streaks is not cool.

So make BP battlegroups with the same logic as i suggested above on Decisive Bonds.

-Arenas

Ok, lets all be honest here please. Power might be the same, levels are the same and HP's are the same but it's not only the Initiative thats active.

Whats active in Arena is ALL the secondary stats, which makes Injury,Critical,Combo,Control,Initiative,TAI & NIN *ion

Initiative should be obviously a factor here cause somehow it has to be decided who plays first. But the rest?

Dont lie to your community about these stats being inactive.

I have played games against 6P Narutos who had no buffers in their team and they where hitting double or triple the amount of dmg from my 6P Naruto.

Why? Cause INJURY and TAI/NIN Pen.

My suggestion here is : STOP lying , inactive all the stats except Initiative and make Arena fair as you said it is.

I agree with you Dervus.

The game is all about pvp and competitive. Power groups should be made to make the game more balance.

Also i faced in arena the same team as mine and the dude was hitting me harder that i did. :)

DB -

1) that system wont work, you would literally stop me from being able to do the event at all since no1 else would be in my bp range, there would be 3 people in the groups above me and only 3 people in the group below me so they wouldn't be able to do the event either, as well as people who are closer in bp having much higher queue times as well, so the people who would have killed a couple ninjas now have to wait 15minutes for a fight against someone who they may not kill any ninjas against anyway because of team comps, hell, i would just stack my m1 even more to drop my bp so that i would have more options which would just make my m1 hit u even harder, so it doesn't really solve ur problem, it just makes the system more annoying for every1 to use.

2)the top guy on my server is over 100k above me the #2, so are you really saying he cant do this event? i don't think its right to tell people who paid money that they cant play the game they paid money for, the game will die because no1 will pay for it after that. so again your solution doesn't work.

if you really want this system improved then its the little things that would help most not massive overhauls that cant be done without ruining the game for others. reduce the amount of kills for the packs. increase the amount of rewards to give incentives to more low lvl people so they join and can fight each other in between fighting us whales. stop people from joining anymore after they hit the reward cap like is done with matsuri, that way 1 whale cant afk for their whole group, they will only be able to help 1 person get all the boxes or.18 wins spread out among their group mates.


SWB-

1)this wont change much for the majority of people, most servers are dying off and getting cluster merges at this point, they only have enough people for 1 swb not 2, so changing it from lvl to bp does nothing when there is only 1 swb. my cluster is one of the more populated ones, and we dont always get 2 swb groups.


none of your logic for db works for swb either. the best way to make it better for low lvl players would be for the winning team in swb to get the 20 adv refines for each player and the individual rewards to no longer give them, but even doing that will hurt the noobs cause us whales will focus you to remove u from the event since u give the fastest points and the fewer of u get points the more likely my team wins, any system that would make more powerful people worth more wont fix it cause noobs die so much faster that i can kill 3+ in the same time as 1 person near my bp so the kill steaks would need to be removed plus the victory rewards would need to be changed to a bp system at which point the #4-10 will try to stay fighting noobs so the #1-3 dont knock them out for the bigger amount of points again hurting noobs. removing adv refines from the event entirely fixes the issue with whales since we will stop doing swb outside of needing a few sun coins, but then the noobs wont really want to do it either so it doesnt truely help them either it just stops whales fro benefiting more.


Arena-

only init counts, ive tested it and so have others, trust me if the other stats counted you would die to me much faster, you can even double check it yourself by lvling an account to 100 without using any power feature outside of your gear, which you can remove to check your stats at lvl 100 to see if your total bp is the same as it says in arena, or by just having a friend with more/less bp queue against u using the same team, outside of buffs both teams hit within the same range. tai/nin pen have 0 noticeable effect in game, that has also been tested by many people, the effect might exist but its a counter to dmg reduction and we get so much pen for free it completely eclipses the dmg red that we can only stack so much when we try.

Decisive bonds

1) this is how actually works right now... Just that first take in account the average rank in the feature and then the summed power. What should be taken in account, instead, is the power of the strongest single move on par rank. That would make things fairer, but still within a queuing time of 60 seconds past which you should still be matched randomly with whoever waited 60 seconds like you.

2) here actually is not a problem unless the enemy the 600k + 100k faces is not so lower powered than doesn't even let them land 1 single mystery. Lets say the 600k+100k face two 350k (same total power) generally what happens is the 600k wins (but beware is not 100% granted, just about 80%) but the two 350ks surely land the hit and get 4 easy kills (in db kills matter too) so imho is fine.

What is not fine is when the 600k+100k face lete say a 250k + a 200k. In this case is granted the second team do nothing and get nothing while the first gets everything, so imho, the only way to solve the issue here (preventing the abuse of alts) is to grant the 4 kills to the 450k team even if they lose and 4 kills only to the 700k team even if they win (the idea is you add to the algorithm a string of code that say if the ratio of team a 1/6 is < than half the ratio of team b (1/2*4/5= 2/5) and if the weakest player of team b has higher bp than the weakest player of team a, then both the teams get 4 wins only).

This way if somebody like shadowblaze goes in with a 100k alt has to take in account to waste twice the time to hit the 70 or 100 killings mark. This obviously doesn't prevent them from doing it and who wants to do it is perfectly able to go on doing it but at least induces them in thinking about it twice before going in that way.

3) retreat since round 2 in all the cases is fine imho, since round 1 no.


Swb


About swb what should be done imho is or to change the rewards so that who is top3 doesn't get much more than who is top 10 or to simply reduce the cap of players per field to 45 or to make constant promotions and demotions from lower to upper fields for who is top3 more than twice in a row in a lower field.


About arena as shadowblaze told you there's no secondary stat involved there besides initiative.

My arena team lands the same average damage both against people faster than me (not many since I'm around 400k power) and against people from s1200 with naruto sakura kakashi/sasuke.

It's just random rng.
