You can get any ninja in game, just by playing and saving currency. Players recharge just to speed-up their progress. So yes, it is f2p friendly, IF you have patience! :)

Good luck!

You need to answer yourself 2 questions:

-do you want to play ninja collection?

-do you want to be competitive in pvp?

If you want to collect ninjas then its a long term contribution, as even though game offers quite a lot of freebies (for example this week 8 or 9 free naruto sosp frags) it takes few months to complete whole ninja when you actively redeem free frags and then buy the remaining ones. If you'll just collect free frags and dont really spend to finish them off (thats what I mostly do), then youll find yourself trying to finish some ninjas for over a year.

If you want to be competitive in pvp: you need to find a certain bracket of players you'd want to compete with. This is one and only way you could say you are "competitive", as for even small active spenders FTP are just meatbags. If you aim at the very top, let me stop you right there. Better buy a real house or new Porsche than spend equivalent on virtual currency to get top1.

Also, have no delusions. You will never be able to compete with someone who spends as long as both players play regularly, literally never. Recharging 6k, spending it on frogs and monthly cards is equivalent of roughly 20k coupons. Per month, just because they paid. Ammount of time for ftp to collect this ammount is over 5months, and you need to consider that person who spent will also get this much just by playing the game. And get even more, because money invested into the game snowball account's progress. On top of that, bigger spenders get all those new ninjas for "free" as a bonus for recharging. So lets say John Doe recharges 30k, recruits 20k ninja and gets 20k of items just by recharging. Then he can change those 30k ingots into 100k coupons over 5months. Overall he gets 20k ninja, 20k items and 100k in coupons, as well as 20k cp for doing daily activities like everybody. Thats total worth of 160k cp vs you, who over those 5 months got only 20k. Got the point?

If you like the naruto franchise and you want to play the game for fun, by all means its great. As i mentioned, you get some freebies, doing dailies gives you a lot of ingame currency (sun/moon/ninja coins) to trade for something of your choice, so you have a sense of semi progress. But if you lack patience (and patience is single most important trait of a ftp naruto player), this game is not ftp friendly at all. In any aspect, as it will most likely cause you frustration as you can neither recruit anything in a short span of time, nor be competitive to have fun with winning pvp fights.

Gaming is about having fun, and I refuse to put a definition on fun because it means differently for different people

and at a different stage of life, etc etc, plus the harsh realities and practicalities

that some people make: in order to move ahead (of others.)

But let me tell you the most important thing, gaming is about competing with yourself..

if you do that, you can keep at it.. even afford to lose at some.

If you can't do that because you seriously have more important things to do...

congratulations !! Your decision is made and hopefully so is your life !!

In any case, you c*ways try the game (the free to play part) for like a week then quit n go rl,

that's what most non-gamer can accomplish. XD

if you expect yourself to be competitive at max. level.... no its not f2p friendly...

If you are willing to take slow road, save up currency and limit your XP gain (freeze lvl) and you have have patience.. it is sort of f2p friendly.
By that I mean, you will always meet someone of your level stronger (unbeatable), because he pays...
All power gaining features are double edge swords... On one hand, you get power, on the other its another feature you fall behind at to paying players..

All I can advise you as a fellow f2p is:
- spend wisely (you are f2p, go for support ninjas / meta ninjas with some lifespan... we cannot affort to have all ninjas to make teams, we have to pick up ninjas to use them to their fullest)
- max up rebates (as much as you can)
- find a team you wanna go for (pretty much the 1st point), get a team ready to be competiitive... and get at least 1 competitive team (you can experiment later, but stay competitive)
- in most cases Power > ninjas... on the other hand I lost to 6p teams with JMinato team with less than 30k power (me 100k, them 70k... just because I went to power up whole team while they powered 6p and I lost round 10) .... getting to another point....
- stack up your pos1, unfortunatelly even is your whole team is at 100k power (fairly distributed power 26-23k power between all 4 ninjas) you will pretty much lose to a team with stacked pos1 (100k power team - 40k power pos1 and 20k others)...

try to stay as low lvl as you can... once you get into beast´s territory, you can´t get out... and a lvl 73 with 150k power is ready to hunt down any weak guy xD

good luck

F2P friendly, kind of. It's more of you need a lot of game knowledge of its features and patience to succeed as a non spender. You need to be able to tell which events are good for you to spend your coupons on, which resources are worth hoarding, and what ninjas are worth spending towards.

Is it friendly for F2P? I'd say generally not. You have to have extreme patience because the things that everyone wants are items that require months of saving coupons for. It also requires a lot of work and you need to be able to do most of the evening timed events if you want to get anywhere.

you already gotten some answers !

i think this game is friendly to f2p players. as you can see there are activities and events give you tone of rewards to pull from as long as you have a will to carry on, this cause people saving up a lot of resources in their inventory. players resources management is very good.

their is ambition in men heart so no one full fill that for you and your ways.

-freeze level players, clever and scare to go far and deeper.

-small and medium pay players, clever and good management as well

-big pay players, clever and good management as well sometime go greedy :D

-f2p players, i think these players are very friendly why ? they grow slowly but faster than freeze level players and they always be need friends to carry out activities/events let's say depend on each other.

The definition of f2p friendly game is a potential p2p/p2w game where if you play with constance, you grind the max possible and you do no mistakes in using wisely your resources you are able to catch up in a reasonable amount of time (1/2 months) to whoever doesn't do it and cashed a reasonable amount of money within that timespan (the same 1/2 months for less than 200$ basically).

From this point of view the game is absolutely NOT f2p friendly because the grinding is extremely limited, the amount of FULL free resources per event is very limited and easy to get also by who casually plays and the amount of time required to get competitive ninjas without using the free resources is exceedingly high.

A f2p friendly game example is knights chronicle for mobile where, if you know what you do and you play consistently and wisely, you get 80% of what a superwhale get instantly within the following 1 or 2 months (100% of the core content) and you are perfectly able to have a decent match with them if you meet them with not low chances to win if they do mistakes in building up their heroes or if luck is on your side.

Naruto online is not that kind of game.

yea it's f2p friendly (the game doesn't force it down your throat to recharge) albeit the chances of you becoming a top player may take a bit longer as you're not recharging/topping up. But if you luck out and end up in a server with little p2w players you'll have a great time enjoying the game whilst being competitive. As you cannot buy power as only p2w players with the patience and strategy end up becoming "whales" with excessively high power. Most p2w guys can be overtaken if you play smart

In a very new server, indeed, in any servers older than 1 year no.

You get about 5k coupons per month by being a good f2p + an average of 1k if you are on during arena zenith (getting 8 wins is not determined by you alone, but also by the enemy ability and main character choice and also by luck, but is very possible to get 6/7).

Your average 20$ per month casher (that is a very low amount) gets 6000 more coupons just with the two monthly cards. Add to it the lowest froggy and doing wisely the recharges when there are good low cashing recharge rebates (right now platinum recharge and daily recharge rebate) and you hit 7000.

In 1 year he got 85000 more coupons.

If he rise to 50$ add in jonin medal and 1000 ingots froggy and we are at 3000/4000 more.

Unless he does wide and consistently high mistakes this amount can't be overcome in any way regardless how nicely and strategically you play.

He will be 150k when you are 100k with better ninjas than you and he will be 300k when you'll be 200k.

And beware that i am not talking about whales, but about what oasis thinks is a low casher.

That's the current situation of the game.
