well he named after yahiko, he's the son of konan and nagato, that's why he using uzumaki last name and that's why his hair red and falldown like konan. the lore: he was born not long after akatsuki was formed secretly since they didn't trust madara (obito) nor zetzu, since there was a huge gap of time after akatsuki formed until the great war. and maybe the reasons why nagato want a peaceful world without madara and why at some point he know he been using by obito, thats why he also implant renningan and tail beasts cakra into his son. and maybe the reason why he do "rinne tensei" on konoha cause he can't shake madara and zetsu and entrusting the future on naruto, while he kept silents about his child existences even on edo mode, cause he was mind control by kabuto and can't take any change to * up his son existences.
