Ranked battle always been a headache , you right about the very first 6 months if you dont have event ninja(s) you cant do anything even if you have good ini but f2p dont really have both and after again a few months bloody hell to get 6 path , im still doing arena the last weeks of the month i think you have better chance to climb up.

Really useful advice and what about versions where there isnt implemented shisui yet or in early ver. like 2.0;3.0? Well i know its the past now but in early versions everyone just simply avoided or stop doing it a certain point. My opinion is that you dont really need shisui if you can win the barrier whit other ninjas of course probably he the best if im not counting event ninjas like roshi or 2nd hokage. A bit off topic i can say on the forum im f2player or im do invest money to the game who will gonna prove it or deny it?
