Knowing Sasuke in that he won't come back for something like his birthday, Sakura wanted to surprise him during this day by visiting him with Sarada wherever he is staying as he finds out more about the Otsutsuki clan.

Sakura goes to Naruto's house and asks, "Can you find out where Sasuke by detecting his chakra is for me? I want to visit him for his birthday with Sarada."

Naruto replies, "I can do it for you, but he might be in a dangerous location."

However, Sakura insists as she always does when it comes to finding Sasuke and being with him. Naruto finds his location and Sakura and Sarada visit Sasuke in a forest somewhere far from Konoha.

"Happy birthday papa!" said Sarada as she gives him a birthday cake. Sakura also greets and hugs him. Naruto greets him as well, but goes back to Konoha in order to fulfill his Hokage duties.

Sasuke, Sarada and Sakura talk to each other for what seemed like hours as they enjoyed each other's company. However, as they were saying their goodbyes, Sasuke's vision of the two melt and the genjutsu he put on himself ended.
