Since I finished Masked Man, I'm going for Jonin Minato to put with Shisui and get a full cancer evade control lineup. Is Fateful Choice a cheap event or would other events be cheaper?

Other events are cheaper, and come with more items attached (like lucky board). You could've gotten him for 10k when he came around in lucky board, fateful choice you're looking at more like 12k on average, 14k if you're unlucky
