The last gate for 8 gates hasn't been open for the longest time already and everyone could use the extra gate to power up. Unless you're making it super OP, no need to keep it locked for months.

It is in fact open. It will open for you at lvl 100. They should update that to indicate it does so, but never fear, it is implemented in the game already.
