Here I am, playing water main without that team.

...Mostly because I don't have Mei, but still, 6 rares, no Mei, I never got her, unlike mostly everyone else, isn't the concept to make your own original team?

Theres so many other and stronger teams someone could build around Mei. I know this rant is common, and thick-headed people will blabber on about their counters and what not, but it doesn't take away from the fact that these teams are annoying to fight - even if you win.

Its like going inside a cave in pokemon and finding nothing but Zubats.

I despise people who use this cancer team. Almost every team i build for PVP is ultimately formed to counter that lineup first.

Don't forget the Lightning Main. They all do the exact same blitz/root formations. I encounter both the water meta and lightning root/blitz meta a lot in majority of the PvP fights and I have no way to counter the root/blitz teams and can only counter water meta teams that are around my power level. The real issue comes in when they are all at level 95 with 70,000 power. My power is almost at 50,000.

Honestly, I have yet to pull Mei, Mabui, Tenten. But even so, it is really dumb that this specific line up as long as they have more initiative they can take down people who are nearly 20k power stronger than them. I mean that alone shouldn't be a thing and should show how broken that line up is.

This is why I'm running Triple Healer/Kimimaro team for pvp...

Lightning meta can be countered, Water meta cannot. There's too many targets that needs to be taken down in Round 2 for it to be even be able to defeat it. If you got Raza, perfect, you're solid for the time being. If you turn one combo Mabui with initiative and stop her from giving chakra, you're also good. Anything else from those two options, you're basically fawked.

Meanwhile I'm over here running Darui-Hinata-Sage Naruto.

and here i am looking for darui or danzo cause i am using midnight blade and the kage treasure gave me chojuro, mei and mifune.

i would kill for mifune over 900 pulls in, and a super rare and still no mifune

Do I get extra points for pulling off a Mei Cancer Team with Lightning main? Am I creative yet? xD

Though on a serious note I can understand where you're coming from, it is kinda bland after a while. I tried to constrain my Mei team usage to PVE, unless my group leader requests that I use her for War.

Again this has been explained many many many times.

The most easy and all round meta team any player, f2p, p2p and p2w can get is the mei-tenten-mabui team. Other than having more initiative than them to shut mabui/mei, steal the barrier and kill mabui turn 1 there is no surefire counter, or team that can kill them reliably (DP Hidan is a tad too expensive to be considered a viable counter for the majority of the playerbase).

Hence, most people will use such a team in order to win some matches in matsuri. Specially since many of the players get matched with higher BP opponents fairly often and meta teams like this one are the only ones that can give them a shot at winning.

It does get boring to fight the same teams overall, but the truth is there are only so many viable meta teams atm. As time goes on and more Roshis and Hans get pulled things may change, but atm the mei kage setup is still the easiest to get.

People want a winning formula that guarantees results and costs less resources at the same time so it's only right for everyone to strive towards building cheap water mei teams because that's the only way they're allowed to stay relevant to the high spending players and their naturally larger character pools. The problem comes from the company and their lack of balancing changes not from the players so once again @oasis get your * together

In arena I believe this team is a bigger nightmare ( the water meta team ). Tenten seems to hit even more that is supposed to for a 2 star or 3 star she is absolutely ridiculous. And on round 2 you are probably dead cause they either kill you by poison or mei killed you with her mystery already. That is why I hate arena the most cause of those water teams. But lighting blitz teams I love that they don't work at all there xD

Don't arena "equalize" the stars? Which would mean gnw tenten effectively gained 3 star compared to the main (or the main lost 3) and 1-2 star against most other ninjas.

Tbh, I don't see the aforementioned mabui-tenten-mei team very often. Maybe once a week in masuri. Probably something to do with level and power range. Where I'm at, water immortals are far more common, on average I get 2 or so per masuri, most of which features roshi. So yeah, it is a phase, people will grow out of it.
