I understand what you mean, however what you call "generic reply" is the most often solution that helps in those kinds of situations. Sure, it's not a 100% sure cure, but it is one of the most often thing that can fix issues.
That being said, if it doesn't help, I can still try to find more solutions to a problem.
I still have problems with this, have any other ideas I can try?
I tested the browser on another computer of mine and it's working fine on that. Did yesterday's update change anything that would cause problems for older systems? (this laptop is better than my computer but it's much older)
Just checked the browser on my laptop and that runs fine so it seems the problem I have is with the mini client.
