1＃ Go ToI've just spent over 45 minutes waiting in the ranked queue of the Arena without any opponents. I'm at my patience's end. How can I rank up if I can't fight anyone? Why did Oasis remove the feature of getting a random match after a certain time limit?
I'd suggest putting that feature back in, but I'm sure the people on the lower end of the ladder would complain about getting nothing but Super Kage opponents or some such. Nevermind that the Arena is already flawed by design with it's excessive reliance on overall Initiative.
I'd much prefer they keep ALL stats, including Initiative, at the base level without bonuses from equipment, runes, refines or charms or whatever. Perhaps a system of Rock-Paper-Scissors could be implemented to choose who gets bonus Initiative at Round 1? And then on Round 2 the other player gets bonus Initiative? It would certainly make matches somewhat fairer, though more reliant on luck.

The wait time is a result of another ranked arena issue you have probally seen discussed lately.
Over half the players are giving up on arena because of negative points :o
That issue results in the issue ur having with longterm wait times. I've even watched it hit 1hour wait time ;P -

You are right, negative points is one of the most evident flaws in the arena and the source of many of the problems that mode has.
However this is what Daiske had to say about it: " We don't have such plans, Negative points will stay in the arena".
Make of that what you will. But after looking at the many suggestions as well as the current SWB i've come to think that both the poll section and the suggestion system is nothing more than a gimmick to keep the players somewhat happy. They never intended to listen to our comments or at least, they have never shown any indication of doing so.
So not really worth wasting time thinking on how to improve the game for everyone. -

They won't change arena for a simple reason: germany got this week 3.0 so very likely we will get it too within two months. In 3.0 arena gets totally revamped because in china too they had the problemw we are facing. So the only thing that we can do is to sit down quietly and hope 3.0 with the new ranked arena comes soon. -

Thank you! Finally some context.
Why did the moderators not tell us this when responding to the numerous arena threads? I would have been satisfied with this answer, instead we got a simple rebutal with no context or additional information.
Are moderators under harsh NDAs?
Cause if they commit and assure us it will change in 3.0 and it doesn't, they get flamed as well. Pretty much regardless of what they say, they get flamed in this forum if you noticed. -

Yes, you are perfectly right here, but there are ways and ways to reply. Most of the times they forget we are the costumers and that transparency isn't bad at all. -

But the Mods are also customers that I bet don't get all that much information from Oasis as well, maybe just a few days ahead of us and that's about it.
And they are paid customers... with coupons... that probably comes to a measly US$50 a month. Which you can earn more working 1 shift at MacDonalds. :L -

That's terrible. I paid all my mods a regular job payment every month, but the mods did more then just handle forums lol
