I have tested 8-gates with and without Injury stat (Inferno) of +240 using my Susano Sasuke fixed Critical Chase or GNW Ten2 on damage range below 10,000 (The higher the damage, the higher the range, so avoid doing more than 10,000 damage, my sample is around 6000). I also made sure it is in the same 'MOVE' position, and only replaced non-causing damage gates such as quick.

My result have shown that with or without that 8-gates, the range remain the same, and the average are more or less below 200 damage, even proving that without Injury, the average damage could be higher.

I have also heard my other group mates doing similar tests to get similar results.

I posted or commented on this before on another thread and was turned down saying that I was wrong, I am glad that someone else is coming out to say they have tested it and found similar results.

From what I've heard Damage Reduction is suposedly 0.3% reduction per point, meaning even at 1000 reduction you'd still get only as tiny as 300 reduce.

If we assume Injury works similar, then to see any kind of increase you'd need at least around 800-1000 of it, and against someone who has little to none. Enemy's injury counter-acts yours after all.

I concur to the notion that INFERNO just did not work! I tested it as well, try using a smaller range (below 8000 damage) to see if it makes a difference.

a simple test can be done on kakashi clone, unless kakashi clone changes his stats everytime we try him out on d same level.

Well its not exactly 'that' simple. To get into the 1000 range you'd need a gold or red damage reduction chakra in 8 gates, high group skill, and gold damage reduce in every ninja tool.

what i think is that you see a difference in it if you reach specific goals, lets say (i'm totally guessing numbers just to explain what i think) it increases the damage landed by a critical by 1% every 1000 units of injury stocked, then you need to reach 2000 to see a difference in comparison with 1000 (so, lets say you are at 1600 if you add 240 you reach 1840 that's still under 2000 so you don't see any difference, but if you add another 160 you see it).

please dont reply if u dont know what you are talking about. My test is based on a lv9 Gold Inner gates chakra rune, and after sampling 8 times or more, there is only 100 damage difference or even negative difference at times. Do more different sampling and u will realise ur damage is just pure RNG without the injury stat taken into account.

Nobody cares what u think.

We want to know the in-game mechanics because obviously the amount u invested in injury thru 8-gates should have more effect than it is currently.

This is correct.

It's harder to explain Injury considering it's a two-sided coherent rune. It's mostly noticeable against crit damage.
While it does amplify the crit damage amount, it's slightly noticeable. Again it's mostly a defensive rune against crit damage itself.

So had***@yahoo.com stated, it works similarly in the notion that you have to increase it by quite a lot to notice any major changes. Not to mention, your opponents Injury statical as well.

Also @ToroKenshee

"Nobody cares what you think"
Watch that attitude.

Anyway, hopefully, that answers the question. If you have any more, feel free to PM me.
